Squiggly

Create, edit, and delete squiggly annotations in DraftPDF.

Squiggly annotations add a wavy underline to selected text, often used to flag spelling, wording, or review issues.

Create

  1. Select the Squiggly tool from the annotation toolbar.
  2. Drag across the text you want to flag.
  3. Release to create the squiggly markup.

Edit

Select the annotation to open the right-side properties panel. The General section is shared across annotations and lets you review or change common metadata such as Author, Subject, Page, Rect, Print, Locked, Created, and Modified. The Metadata section shows the full annotation object and lets you copy it.

The Squiggly properties panel includes Appearance controls for Stroke and Opacity, plus a Geometry readout for the text regions it spans.

Delete

  1. Select the annotation on the page.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the right-side properties panel.
  3. The annotation is removed from the current document immediately.
