Highlight

Create, edit, and delete highlight annotations in DraftPDF.

Highlight annotations mark passages of text with a translucent overlay for review and emphasis.

Create

  1. Select the Highlight tool from the annotation toolbar.
  2. Click and drag across the text you want to highlight.
  3. Release to create the highlight.

Edit

Select the annotation to open the right-side properties panel. The General section is shared across annotations and lets you review or change common metadata such as Author, Subject, Page, Rect, Print, Locked, Created, and Modified. The Metadata section shows the full annotation object and lets you copy it.

The Highlight properties panel includes Appearance controls for Stroke and Opacity, plus a Geometry readout that shows how many text regions are covered.

Delete

  1. Select the annotation on the page.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the right-side properties panel.
  3. The annotation is removed from the current document immediately.
