Comment

Create, edit, and delete comment note annotations in DraftPDF.

Comment annotations place a note icon on the page and store the comment text in a pop-up note style annotation.

Create

  1. Select the Comment tool from the annotation toolbar.
  2. Click anywhere on the page to place the comment note.
  3. Type the note contents, then click outside the note to finish.

Edit

Select the comment to open the right-side properties panel. In addition to the shared General and Metadata sections, comment annotations expose their note text through Contents in General.

The Comment appearance panel includes Stroke, Opacity, and Icon so you can change the note colour and icon style.

Delete

  1. Select the annotation on the page.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the right-side properties panel.
  3. The annotation is removed from the current document immediately.
