Setting a Drawing Scale
How to calibrate a page scale in DraftPDF for accurate measurements on engineering and architectural drawings.
Before measuring, set a page scale so DraftPDF can convert PDF distances and areas into real-world units.
- Open Edit > Set Scale.
- Choose either a preset scale or a custom drawing-to-real-world ratio.
- Select the units (metres, feet, inches, etc.).
- Set the display precision and optionally rescale existing measurements.
- Click Apply to This Page or Apply to All Pages.
Tip:You can set a different scale per page, which is useful for drawing sets that mix plan sheets and detail sheets.
Use Clear This Page or Clear All Pages in the same dialog if you need to remove a scale calibration.
